Bachelor Curriculum

The education program at the Physics Department at ETH Zurich leads to the Bachelor and Master degrees according to the European "Bologna" model. Although the three-year Bachelor program leads to a degree, the professionally relevant qualification is the Master degree, which corresponds to the old and widely recognized ETH "Diploma".

The Bachelor stage builds the foundation for the following Master stage. During the three years students will follow the basic courses in Mathematics and Physics at the beginning and continue with more specialised advanced topics that are indespensible for any Physicist.

The choice is between Quantum Mechanics II and Mechanics of Continuous Media. Quantum Mechanics I is mandatory.
