Photonics: Benefit from membership in EPIC
ETH Zurich is now a member of the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC). EPIC supports and promotes the photonics sector, including the entire value chain: industry, training, R&D. With the ETH membership, all ETH researchers can benefit from the advantages on offer.
EPIC supports funding applications in Europe, provides free access to specific studies and provides information on jobs and companies in the field. European collaborations are supported as well. Here are three examples:
Funding
You have a great idea for a new research direction but are still looking for partners to join in a European-grant application? EPIC supports you in finding other members for projects and in advising on how to increase your chances to get EU funding.
Partner / New Collaborations
Your research led to state-of-the-art developments in photonics and you want to take it out of the laboratory? EPIC can help you to find the right partners to develop your developments toward practical industrial applications, thanks to its dense network covering the entire value chain in the field of photonics.
Jobs
You agree that Photonics is a great field to get a first position in industry? EPIC provides you with a list with jobs and existing companies in that domain, to support you in your job search.
