The apprentices of the Department of Physics and the Services Department of ETH Zurich will receive a very special Christmas present this year, and one that they helped themselves to create. Shortly before the end of the year, on 20 December 2017, it was ready to open: the common space and meeting place for some 50 apprentices on the Hönggerberg campus.

Many members of the "Services & Vocational Training" staff of the Department of Physics came and spent a stimulating evening in the "Umwelt Arena". An occasion for exchange and getting together — and to learn new things.
