Farewell Doris Amstad, welcome Mirjam Kandler
At the end of June 2018, Doris Amstad will start her well-deserved retirement. For some 14 years she was in charge of the study secretariat of the Department of Physics at the ETH Hönggerberg Campus and in the centre – there together with the Department of Mathematics
Over these long years, she helped her many superiors, especially when they started, offering her many years of experience and great know-how. When others were stuck, she always has been able to find a solution for the students, even with tricky problems. She was a person one could rely on. Since May 2018, she has passed on her broad knowledge to her successor, Mirjam Kandler, to ensure that the study secretariat continues to function smoothly.
Welcome Mirjam KandlerMirjam Kandler takes over the study secretariat at Hönggerberg from 1 August 2018. She worked at ETH Zurich already befire and has helped build the coaching for Students at ETH in the Academic and Career Advisory Programme (ACAP) – in close contact with the Department of Physics. She also contributed to the brochure “Job-Universum Physik”.
