Registration procedure and information for submission

1. Before you start your thesis, select an protected page authorised supervisor (if not sure, ask the study administration) and discuss the procedure (starting/end date, meetings, layout, ...) with him/her.
2. If you do not have a BSc degree in Physics from ETH Zürich, you have to complete the mandatory course 402-2000-00L Scientific Works in Physics before registering the master's thesis.
3. Register electronically for projects/papers/theses in myStudies, until 1 week prior to starting date, at the very latest.
4. Please wait for approval from your supervisor and the study administration. The official registration is completed once both approvals are given and you may start your thesis.
   
5. Prior to starting your thesis, discuss all details for submission with your supervisor. Hand in your thesis by the agreed date (within 6 months), including the signed declaration of originality. Please note that the Study Administration does not need a copy of your thesis.

Master's theses must be completed within the specified time. You must plan carefully in advance, if you wish to receive your credit points on time to apply for your Diploma Degree Request.
