Mentoring for Physics Students
The Department of Physics offers a peer mentoring programme for first-year students.

Students from later semesters and doctoral students may mentor first-year students who have questions about their studies and all aspects of life as a physics student.
The aim of the programme is to make it easier for first-year physics students to start their studies and to network with each other and with more senior students. A get-to-know-you aperitif at the beginning of the semester allows the first-year students who participate in the programme to meet their mentors. Mentees and mentors are encouraged to meet in person at least once a month, e.g. over coffee, but it is up to them to agree on a meeting frequency.
