PhD students are available for questions by other students about semester projects, Bachelor and Master theses: the student association VMP hosted the «Research Group Event» on the 18th of November in the main building of ETH.
More than 30 PhD students presented the research of their groups with the help of posters and experiments. In a collegial atmosphere over 100 attending students were also able to ask many questions. The event was received very well by the involved. In the future the VMP would like to offer insights into an even broader range of research groups.
This valuable discussion was possible due to the commitment of the PhD students and the support of the Departments of Mathematics and Physics. The «Research Group Event» is planned to return in 2016.
